I. Daily Cleaning:
1. Cleaning after Injection MoldingAfter each injection molding cycle, promptly clean residual plastic debris and oil stains from the mold cavity, core, and parting surface. Use a dedicated mold cleaner with a soft brush or non-woven cloth for wiping. Avoid scratching the mold surface with hard tools.
2. Vent Hole CleaningRegularly inspect and clean the mold's vent holes to prevent blockage by plastic debris or impurities. Blocked vents can affect gas discharge during injection, leading to product defects such as bubbles and material shortage.
II. Regular Maintenance:
1. Lubrication of Moving PartsApply special high-temperature mold grease to moving parts such as slides, guide pillars, and guide sleeves regularly (recommended every 2000 injections or once a week). This reduces friction and wear between components, ensuring smooth operation.
2. Inspection of FastenersRegularly check the mold's fasteners such as screws and bolts to ensure there is no loosening or thread stripping. If worn or loose fasteners are found, replace or tighten them promptly to prevent mold deformation due to uneven force during injection molding.
3. Replacement of(Vulnerable Parts)Pay attention to the mold's vulnerable parts (such as seals and springs). Replace them promptly according to usage frequency and wear level to prevent issues like water leakage and movement jamming caused by failed vulnerable parts.
III. Rust Protection:
1. Rust Prevention During Idle PeriodsIf the mold will be idle for an extended period (more than 1 week), evenly spray a dedicated mold rust inhibitor on its surface, wrap it with rust-proof film, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated environment. Avoid contact with humid air or corrosive substances.
2. Rust Prevention After Injection MoldingAfter each cleaning, apply a thin layer of anti-rust oil to the mold surface (excluding the working areas of the cavity and core). Pay special attention to corners, gaps, and other areas prone to water accumulation to prevent mold rusting.

 
What is Mold Flow Analysis?
Mold Flow Analysis is a technology that uses computer simulation techniques to simulate the injection molding process of plastics in the mold cavity, including flow, holding pressure, cooling, and warpage. By constructing digital models of the mold and plastic materials, it simulates the entire process of molten plastic entering the mold cavity from the injection machine nozzle, going through filling, holding pressure, cooling, and finally solidifying into a shape. This allows for the prediction of potential problems during the molding process.
Why Conduct Mold Flow Analysis?
1.Identify and Resolve Molding Defects in Advance:
It can predict whether the product will have defects such as short shots (insufficient filling), weld lines, air traps, sink marks, and warpage deformation before the mold is manufactured. For example, if the simulation shows that filling is difficult in a certain area, the gate position, quantity, or mold runner design can be optimized in advance. This avoids rework due to defects after the mold is completed, saving time and costs.
2. Optimize Mold and Process Design:
• Mold aspect: It helps determine the gate position, runner size, cooling water circuit layout, etc., making the mold design more reasonable and improving mold performance and service life. 
• Process aspect: It optimizes process parameters such as injection pressure, injection speed, holding time, and cooling time, ensuring a stable molding process and improving production efficiency.  
3. Reduce Production Costs:
It reduces the number of mold test runs (traditional mold testing may require multiple adjustments to solve problems), saving the cost of test materials, labor, and time. At the same time, it lowers the scrap rate caused by product defects, improves product qualification rates, and indirectly reduces production costs. 
4. Improve Product Quality and Consistency:
It ensures that plastic fills and cools evenly in the cavity, reducing issues such as product dimensional deviations and differences in mechanical properties. This makes the quality of the produced products more stable, meeting the market demand for high precision and high quality.
